Long ago, in ancient times,
in the prehistoric land,
Where the giant woolly mammoths
walked across the sand.
Lived a little cave kid,
with a big heart in his hand,
Rickyteen, the counter, he was
the best in the whole clan.
Stones of every shape and
color, shining in the sun,
He would count them one by
one, until the day was done.
From the morning light
until the evening has begun,
Counting was his greatest
love, his favorite type of fun.
One, two, three, Moonstone bright!
What an adventure starts tonight!
Rickyteen counts, Rickyteen
searches with all his might.
With a brave heart and his friends,
he’s running toward the light,
Gotta find that special stone
and make everything right.
But one day, among his treasures,
oh no, what a terrible dread!
The Moonstone was missing,
the one that shines overhead.
It shimmered like a star,
with stardust in its gleam,
Rickyteen got very sad, he had to chase his dream!
He crossed the rushing rivers,
climbed mountains high above,
He met the wise old owl, who
taught him how to look with love.
The nimble squirrel showed him
how to leap and jump and bound,
And the friendly mammoth said,
"True friendship must be found!"
One, two, three, Moonstone bright!
What an adventure starts tonight!
Rickyteen counts, Rickyteen
searches with all his might.
With a brave heart and his friends,
he’s running toward the light,
Gotta find that special stone
and make everything right.
In the mysterious valley, he saw the shiny clue!
The stone was in the treetop,
beneath the sky of blue.
Thanks to all his forest friends,
who helped him reach the height,
He recovered his sweet
treasure, and hugged it tight.
Holding it within his hand, he finally understood:
Counting stones is entertaining,
but friendship is the good!
Kindness is the greatest gift,
the best thing to possess.
Rickyteen came back a hero, full of happiness!
One, two, three, Moonstone bright!
What an adventure starts tonight!
Rickyteen counts, Rickyteen
searches with all his might.
With a big heart, a great
friend, a hero he will be,
Friendship is the true treasure, for all eternity!
